This year I am running 50 kilometers to raise $50,000 in support of 3rd Creek Foundation’s vision: a world without poverty. All funds raised will go towards affordable loans for businesses working to alleviate poverty across Africa, Latin America and South Asia.

Over the past 10 years we have invested capital into businesses that improve livelihoods, often through agricultural, clean water and renewable energy solutions. These investments support businesses to make big changes in their communities. And the investments support the growth of 3rd Creek Foundation’s grants budget, which leads to significant improvements to the livelihoods of individuals living on under $2 of income per day.

Your donation made to this campaign supports three fold lasting change: 1) businesses invest in their communities to solve social problems and reduce poverty; 2) income from the investments support grant projects focused to improve livelihoods for the ultra poor; & 3) the investment continues to be recycled in the next business, meaning your donation has sustaining power and leaves a legacy beyond one project.
